Products: Add-on Products
Add-on products are supplementary products which can be sold along with a 'parent' product e.g.
- Exhibition Stand: Furniture, electrics, carpets, etc. along
- Table Booking: Bottle of Wine
- Awards Nomination: shipping duty labels
Add-on Types
- Add-ons can be grouped by logical types e.g "Furniture" or "Wine"
- Types can have options e.g. "Size" - large, Medium, Small or Colours, etc
- When adding a product of a certain type you can select from the available options and set prices in various ways for the options
Add-on products:
- can be arbitrarily designed and associated with another primary (parent) products.
- are grouped by 'types'
- can be assigned to more than 1 parent product
- function like other 'normal' products with their own price and VAT settings
Prices for add-ons
Add-on prices are very flexible and can be set in a number of different ways.
- Per add-on
- Here there is only 1 fixed price for the add-on item regardless of where it is associated of what options are selected

- Per SKU
- It is possible to create various combinations of items based on options e.g.
- Table - metal
- Table - wood
- In that example the metal table may cost more than the wood table and per SKU pricing caters for this
- The system can generate all possible combinations of options and your can then assign codes for each combination and if required, separate prices

- Per parent product
- Here it is possible to set the price of any add-on of the type by association with the parent product e.g.
- Table of 10 - set price of wine = £15
- Table of 5 - set price of wine = £20
- Here it is possible to set the price of any add-on of the type by association with the parent product e.g.
Customers can see and select add-on products from within the shopping basket
Add-ons may be purchased at a later time after the original 'parent' product was purchased
