Email Domains

It is possible to have Evessio send emails from your own event or organisation domains.

  • The default is noreply@evessio.com
  • After successful configuration, emails could come from e.g. you@yourevent.com or events@yourcomany.com

Several steps are required in order to ensure the integrity of your domains and the successful sending and receiving of emails.

  1. Add the domain you would like to use via Events HQ > Settings > Email Domains
    1. The domain must not have been used in Evessio already
    2. The domain must be valid and searchable in DNS records
  2. Update your DNS by copying the provided records
    1. Once the records have propagated in DNS the domain will show as "Verified"
  3. Add email addresses for the domain
    1. You can add as many addresses for each domain as required
    2. Addresses which are added and verified will become available to use in event settings
  4. Verify the address
    1. Each email address you add will receive a confirmation email message with a link in it. 
    2. The address will not be valid until the link has been clicked
  5. Use the address in events
    1. Validated email addresses will appear in the EVENT > Settings page and can be selected for use on events.
    2. When set all outbound emails for the event will use this email address
