Products: Ticket approvals

Ticket Approvals

  • Add a validation step for any Event Attendance products (i.e. Tickets)
  • Event admins can approve or deny attendees via ATTENDANCE > Attendees
  • Automated emails with customisable templates are sent to the customer and attendees for Pending, Approved and Denied actions

Ticket approvals flow

  • Customers select "Event Attendance" products (tickets) and progress through the checkout process (Free or Paid)
  • If "Tickets approvals" is active, each attendee will receive an email using the "Attendee Ticket Pending" template
  • Tickets are created and placed in a "Pending" status
  • Event admins review the pending tickets and either Approve or Deny them
  • Attendees receive either the "Attendee Ticket Approved" or the "Attendee Ticket Denied" emails using the respective templates

Activating Ticket Approvals

  • Activate via REVENUE > Products > Event Attendance
  • If 'Disabled' all tickets are automatically 'approved' at the time of checkout
  • If 'Active' all tickets follow the approvals flow

Email templates

  •  Attendee Ticket Approved - Ticket approval with ticket attached as PDF
  •  Attendee Ticket Declined - Notification that an attendee has declined a ticket
  •  Attendee Ticket Denied - Notification to the attendee that their ticket has been denied
  •  Attendee Ticket Denied (Customer) - Notification to the customer that one of the attendees in their booking has been denied
  •  Attendee Ticket Pending - Notification that a ticket has been requested in the attendee's name

Approving or Denying tickets

Attendee ticket declined

  • Attendees have the option to decline tickets requested in their names
  • The declined ticket can be re-assigned to a different person (** next release)
