FAQ List

FAQ lists allows you to create a clear list of frequently asked questions and answers for your event website.

You can fully customise the appearance of your FAQ title, description, background image, colours, transparency overlays, and individual question and answer styling.

Creating an FAQ list

To begin creating your key date, go to Website > Pages, and select the page or template you want your key date to appear on.

Select the location you wish your key date to appear, and click on +Add Content.

In the window, go to Content > Common > Basics > +Add FAQ.


Tip 💡

Alternatively, create your content by going to Website > Content > Common > Basics > FAQ, and click +Add. Once created, you can later add your FAQ List to your website.


In the new window, add a title to save this content type as. Then, choose if you wish to show this title on your website, and if so, if the title will be aligned left, right, or centred.

Then, add an optional description which will appear above your FAQ List.


Then, choose how your FAQ list will look.

You can choose to customise the look and feel of your list. To do this, check the Customise List? option.


Firstly, optionally add a background image, which will act as a wallpaper for your FAQ list and the column it is contained in.

Alternatively, you can add a background colour, which will act as the background of your FAQ list.

Note 🗒️

If you choose to upload a background image, this will override any background colour you have set.

Then, choose if you wish to add a transparency overlay.

If you select this option, you can choose the overlay transparency to select the percentage of transparency, and the overlay colour to determine the colour of the overlay.  

To complete customising the list, optionally choose to customise the Title & Description colour.


Next, choose to customise the look and feel of each individual FAQ item on your list. To do this, check the Customise Items? option.


You can choose the text and background colour of your questions, and also the text and background colour of your answers.


After customisation, you can then add FAQ items to your list.


Adding items to your FAQ list

Your FAQ list must be saved before any FAQ items can be added. Click Save and re enter the list to add your items.

To add an FAQ item, click the green +New FAQ Item to the right side.

In the new window, add your question and answer.

When you are done, click Save, or Save and add more if you want to add more FAQ items.

If FAQ items have already been created for another list, they can be added by opening the Re-use other FAQ Items section. Select the item(s) you wish to include, and click Link Selected.

Once all FAQ items have been added, you can re-order them by drag and dropping, or using the blue arrows.

If you need to make any changes to an FAQ item, click the blue pencil to edit.

If you need to remove an item, click the unlink button.


When you are happy with your FAQ list, click Save.


Adding your FAQ list to your website

To add your FAQ list to your website, go to the page or template you wish for it to appear on.

Choose where you want the menu to appear, and click +Add Content.

In the content window, select Content > Link Button, and then open the folder containing your testimonial or testimonial list.

Tick the box beside your chosen item, then click +Add Selected.

Remember to click Save at the end of your page/template.
