Judging Rounds

This new functionality adds a great deal of power and flexibility to the whole awards management process. If you just have a single judging round process things will continue to be just as easy as before.

  • Create just one or multiple rounds
  • Assign judges and criteria within each round for maximum flexibility
  • Move nominations easily between categories in a round with no restrictions, regardless of question structures in origin categories.
  • Create new categories or merge existing categories
  • Progress nominations though rounds with filters to include or exclude by rank, score or other properties
  • Create Shortlists, Winners lists and Voting lists per round

Creating a round and importing nominations

  • Import the original nominations or import from a previous round
  • Edit a round and re-import from other rounds to merge nominations
  • Optionally filter by various properties during the import process

For Judges

  • Everything remains the same
  • If judges are assigned to multiple rounds they will simply see menu links to the rounds
  • Rounds which are not yet open or which have passed are indicated with a greyed out icon

What happens to your existing awards events?

  • Existing nominations will automatically be migrated into a new judging round for each event
  • Judges, criteria, scores and other aspects will be preserved and migrated into the newly created round
  • Everything will continue to operate as normal within the new context of the judging round

Note: There will be a re-structuring of the Excel export spreadsheets to accommodate the new rounds structure. Initially, each round will have an export spreadsheet which broadly matches the current nomination export sheet. We will be adding rounds data to 'global' exports of nominations in following releases. We will also be adding support for PDF batch exports both globally and per-round.


Multiple payment gateway provider accounts

Until now, Evessio could only handle a single provider account for each Evessio account. e.g. if you needed to process payments into multiple Stripe accounts for different events you would need to operate multiple Evessio admin HQ accounts.

  • Now optionally create multiple sub-accounts for each provider
  • All existing accounts are unchanged and will continue to work without any action
  • For example:
    • You might have different departments or cost-centres with different Stripe accounts
    • Now, the Stripe account for each department can be added in HQ
    • Within each event you can select which Stripe account to us
