How to receive a notification when a transaction has taken place

There are 2 options available if you would like to receive notifications when a transaction takes place (e.g. an awards entry, table booking, tickets).

System Notifications

Each user can set their own system notifications. Hover over your name on the top right hand corner and click on "My Account". Then over "Notification Management" click "Edit".

Select which notification 'channel' you would like to be included in. Selections are per event group so that all events within the group will be included. For notification when a new transaction is made select "Transactions".

BCC into confirmation email template

Alternatively you can BCC yourself or anyone else into the confirmation email templates. This is the email received by the customer when they complete a transaction.

Go to WEBSITE> Email Templates.

Select the relevant email template:

  • Transaction Invoice- Received when someone choses to pay via invoice.
  • Transaction Receipt- Received when someone choses to pay via credit card or makes a free transaction.

In the "BCC" field input the email addresses of anyone who would like to receive the confirmation email. If there is more than one separate them using commas. Remember to click "Save". If your customers have the option of selecting invoice or credit card ensure you CC yourself into both email templates.
