Logged In Area- What is the difference between in basket, saved, incomplete and complete?

When a user is in the logged in area they will see a "Transactions" menu on the left hand side. But what does each section mean?

Basket

The basket is used to hold items before they are committed to a transaction. This is where the user will fill in their entry form/table booking form/registration. Any fields filled in will be automatically saved. Items will remain in the basket until the user either progresses on to complete the transaction or chooses to remove it from their basket. However if a product type has expired, despite the item being in the users basket they will be unable to proceed.

The basket will always display the full price of the item. Discounts will be applied later at the summary step.

Saved Items

In the basket area beside each product the user will see a "Save for later" button. This button will move the nomination out of the basket and into the saved area. For example if a user would like to purchase a table but hasn't quite finished their nomination yet they may chose to move their nomination into their saved items allowing them to complete their table booking without losing their nomination data.

The customer can continue to work on the nomination and save their changes as they go along, revisiting as often as needed. When they are ready to submit the nomination they must move the entry back into the basket using the "Move to basket" button and can then continue on to the next step.

Complete

The Complete area contains all transactions which have been successfully completed and for paid transactions, those which have been paid for. Any nominations/table bookings/registrations listed here will be present in the event management system.

Incomplete

The incomplete area is were a user can see any transaction which have progressed beyond the basket to become a transaction but for any reason are not complete. This includes cancelled and refund transactions, transactions which have been abandoned before they have been submitted e.g at the invoice or summary stage and any transactions where payment has failed. All paid for transactions are incomplete for part of the process as you work through the steps prior to the transaction being completed.

If the products within a transaction are still active the customer can complete or re-process incomplete or cancelled transactions. This means they will not lose the data associated with the product e.g. the awards nomination form or table booking form.
