Event Dashboard
The Event Dashboard reports display summarised data for revenue, products and users over the lifespan of the event.
The Dashboard can be found by going to Event > Dashboard.
This is also the default landing page when you enter your event.
The Event Dashboard is separated into two main areas, Products and Revenue and Products.
Products and Revenue Dashboard
The Products and Revenue Dashboard is a comprehensive reporting tool designed for event admins to monitor and analyse the performance of products available for their events. This dashboard provides real-time insights into sales progress, order completion, and revenue generation across multiple product types.

This dashboard allows you to:
- Monitor sales progress and revenue generation
- Set and track targets for product sales
- Identify trends in product performance
- Compare current event cycles with historical data
- Make data-driven decisions about event planning and marketing
Note 🗒️
Products can be free or paid. The dashboard tracks both types, and also distinguishes between completed transactions and incomplete ones (items still in baskets or saved for later).
The dashboard provides various display options at the top, allowing you to control how you view your data.

Event Comparison

Toggle the option On to enable comparison mode. A panel will appear with a list of previous events. Select the event(s) you wish to compare to your current event; one event(s) you choose will overlay on the current chart.
Tip 💡
Each event will be displayed as a separate line with its own colour, and tooltip will show detailed breakdown when hovering over specific dates
This comparison feature is particularly useful for understanding seasonal patterns, evaluating the impact of marketing campaigns, or assessing whether early sales indicators are on track compared to successful previous events.
Product Performance Table
Below the chart, a detailed Product Performance Table provides comprehensive metrics for each product type.

The table is sorted by product type. It includes individual product rows showing detailed metrics, and a Total row at the bottom, aggregating all products. There are various columns in the table, which can be explained as follows:

Products Dashboard
The Products Dashboard provides a clear, visual snapshot of product performance across your event. Unlike the Products and Revenue Dashboard which focuses on time-series trends, this dashboard is designed for quick, at-a-glance assessment of how products are performing right now.
Note 🗒️
This dashboard does not have its own export function. For detailed data exports, use the Products and Revenue Dashboard, which includes an Excel export covering all underlying product data.

This dashboard allows you to:
- Quickly assess which products are most popular
- Identify which products are driving the most revenue
- See the breakdown between paid, discounted, and free products
- Spot products that may need promotional attention
- Understand incomplete transaction and basket patterns
The Products Dashboard provides various display options at the top, allowing you to control how you view your data.

| Display Option | Function |
|---|---|
| View: Summary vs. Detail |
The Summary view shows a single horizontal bar for each product type, providing a high-level overview of your entire product catalogue. The Summary view condenses your product catalogue into a single bar per product type, making it easy to see the big picture at a glance. Here, each product type shows: • Total count of all products within that type • Aggregate revenue for the entire category • A single bar representing the combined performance The Detail view expands each product type to show individual products as separate bars. The Detail view expands each product type to show every individual product as its own bar, with color-coded segments for pricing types. In this view, each product type shows: • Product name as a separate row • Segmented bar showing Paid (full price), Discounted, and Free quantities • Exact counts for each pricing type • Total count and revenue for that specific product |
| Sort: Counts vs. A-Z |
Control how product types (and products within types) are ordered: Counts Sorts by quantity in descending order: • Product types with the most sales appear at the top • Within each type, products with the most sales appear first • Makes it easy to identify top performers instantly A-Z Sorts alphabetically by name: • Product types are listed alphabetically • Within each type, products are listed alphabetically • Useful for finding specific products quickly |
| Refresh Button | The Refresh button in the top-right corner refreshes the dashboard data. The timestamp next to it shows when the data was last updated (e.g. a few seconds ago). |
At the top of the dashboard, you will find the Incomplete section.
This area provides insights into transactions that have not been competed and received in your event.
The Products Dashboard tracks the following event product types:
| Product Type | Products Dashboard for this product also visible in (menu) |

Tips for Using the Dashboard
Best Practices
- Check the dashboard regularly (daily or weekly) to stay on top of sales trends
- Use the comparison feature to benchmark against successful past events
- Pay attention to the Incomplete metric as it shows potential revenue opportunities
- Monitor the variance columns to identify products that need marketing support
- Use the Days to Event view to understand booking patterns relative to event timing
- Watch for steep increases or decreases in the line chart that might indicate campaign impact
Interpreting Common Patterns
| Event | Indication |
|---|---|
| Early Sales Spike | A sharp initial increase often indicates strong early-bird interest. This is positive but watch to ensure momentum continues. |
| Gradual Climb | Steady linear growth is typical for well-managed events with consistent marketing. This is usually a healthy pattern. |
| Last-Minute Rush | Many events see a spike near the end. If this is your only growth period, consider strategies to encourage earlier bookings. |
| Plateau | A flat line suggests sales have stalled. This might indicate market saturation, price resistance, or need for renewed marketing efforts. |
| High Incomplete with Low Complete | This pattern suggests people are interested but not following through. Consider reviewing your basket process, payment options, or pricing strategy. |
Troubleshooting
Dashboard Not Updating
- Click refresh in the top right corner to manually refresh the data.
Missing Products
- Some products might not appear if they have no sales activity yet. They will appear once the first order is placed.
- Check if the product is marked as "active" in your settings
- Verify the product is assigned to this event
Export Not Working
- Ensure you have permission to export data and that your browser is not blocking downloads.
Numbers Do Not Match Other Reports
- Check the timestamp to ensure you are looking at current data
- Verify you are comparing the same time periods
- Check if other reports include refunds or cancellations differently
- Contact Evessio Support if discrepancies persist
