In the new window, add a title to save this content type as. Then, choose if you wish to show this title on your website, and if so, if the title will be aligned left, right, or centred.

Then, choose the date that defines this key date. If you wish, you can also set an end date and time.
Next, add optional details that will be displayed on the screen, unless you are using Advanced Options.
If you prefer, you can choose to further customise your key date by activating Advanced Options.
When you tick Use Advanced Options, additional fields appear for you to complete.
First, you can add a Key Date Description, which can be displayed in line (always visible) or a pop-up, accessed by clicking a button.

By default, this button will say Show Details, however you can replace this with your preferred text in the field Popup button text.
You can determine the placement of the pop up button by choosing to Align popup button to your theme, or to left, centre or right.
Next, choose if you would like to include a background image. If so, tick the option Add background image?. Upload your preferred image, and select the image size.

You can also choose to Align background image by using the 9-point selector to choose the focal point of the image.
Then, choose how the calendar buttons will appear. By default, there will be a button labelled Add to calendar; if you prefer, you can change this text by entering your chosen text in the field labelled Download calendar file button text.
Next, choose how to Align calendar file download button to your theme, or to left, centre or right.

Creating a Key Date List
A Key Date List is a way to group multiple key dates together in a detailed list, slider or tile formats.
To create your Key Date list, go to Website > Pages, and select the page or template you want your key date list to appear on.
Select the location you wish your key date list to appear, and click on +Add Content.
In the window, go to Content > Common > Schedules > +Add Key Date List.
Tip 💡
Alternatively, create your content by going to Website > Content > Common > Schedules > Key Date list, and click +Add. Once created, you can later add your key date list to your website.

In the new window, provide a title for your key date list.
Then, choose if you will show the title on your site. If you choose to display the name, select if this will be aligned left, right or centre.
Next, add an optional description.

If you would like to show your key date list as a timeline, check the option Show as timeline?.
This option will display your key date list as a simple horizontal timeline on larger screens, and as a vertical timeline on smaller screens.
There will not be any additional buttons, images, or add to calendar options.
If you choose not to show your key date list as a timeline, it will display using the setup you determined when building each key date.
Then, determine if your key date list will be displayed as a list, title or grid.
If you choose tiles or grid, you can then determine how many columns will be displayed, and the gutter (the gap between the columns).

Finally, add your key dates. If you have already created your Key Dates, you can find them in the section Re-use other Key Dates. If you need to create a new key date, click on the button +New Key Date, and build your date(s).
