Domain redirection

When setting up your custom domain for an Evessio event, you will provide the 'root' domain e.g. versiontwo.co.uk (not www.versiontwo.co.uk)

It is common practice (and we recommend it) that you should also configure you DNS to support www.myevent.com

Depending on how you promote your site, how it becomes indexed or where it is linked from you may end up with 'duplicate' references to pages and this may affect your SEO or engine rankings e.g.

• http://myevent.com/ev2018/en/page/event-agenda
• http://www.myevent.com/ev2018/en/page/event-agenda

To mitigate this scenario, we offer the possibility to redirect all traffic from one root to the other.
