DNS and SSL Digital Certificates and setting up https:// for event sites

• Digital certificates ensure traffic to your event sites is encrypted via https
• Secure https:// connections are now expected by users, especially for logins and account areas
• By the end of 2017 Google Chrome began highlighting sites not secured by SSL
• Evessio automatically issues digital certificates for your event sites

• All you need to do is point your domain to our SSL server on IP address 52.50.20.0

DNS Configuration

• The table below is an example of how to set up DNS for SSL for both:
  • yourdomain.com and
  • www.yourdomain.com - adding the 'www' CNAME is optional

Using you own SSL certificate (no longer supported)
