Widget- How to add a link button or link button group
A button can be added to any page using the link button widget.
If you would like to add multiple buttons to be displayed together you can use the link button group widget.
How to add a link button:
Select the page (WEBSITE> Pages> Pages) or template (WEBSITE> Pages> Templates) you wish to add a link button to and click “+Add content” in the column you want the link button to appear.
Click on Widgets> +Link button
Add the text you would like on the button.
If the button should link to an external URL tick “External link?” and provide the correct URL.
If the button should link to an Evessio page click on the “Internal link” box, select the correct page and click “Save”.
Optionally, an icon can be selected to appear on the right hand side of the button text. Tick “Add icon?” and select the icon you wish to use from the drop down options.
Click save. Make sure the link button is selected in the list and click “Add selected”.
- Remember to save and publish the page.
How to add a link button group:
Select the page (WEBSITE> Pages> Pages) or template (WEBSITE> Pages> Templates) you wish to add a link button to and click “+Add content” in the column you want the link button to appear.
Click on Widgets> +Link Button group.
Give the link button group a title and tick the “Show title?” box if you want the title to appear above the buttons. Then select how the title should be aligned.
Optionally add a description to appear above the buttons.
If other link buttons have been created in the event, they can be added to the link button group by clicking “Re-use other Link buttons”. Select the tick box beside the relevant buttons and click “Link selected”.
If you would like to add a new link button click “+New Link button”. If the "+New Link button" isn't available save the link button group list and re-enter it. The button should now be available to click.

Once all buttons have been added they can be reordered by dragging and dropping or using the blue arrow.
If you would like to remove a button click the unlink button. This will not delete the button but it will remove it from the link button group. It can be re-added under ”Re-use other Link buttons”.
If you would like to make a change to any of the button text or URL’s click on the blue pencil beside the relevant button.
Once you have added all the link buttons you need click “Save”.
Make sure the link button group is selected in the list and click “Add selected”.
- Remember to Save and Publish the page.
