Widget- How to add a Social icon link or Social icon link list
Using a Social icon link or Social icon link list widget you can add link icons to your page for the following social media platforms:
- YouTube
- Flickr
- Vimeo

How to add a social icon link.
Select the page (WEBSITE> Pages> Pages) or template (WEBSITE> Pages> Templates) you wish to add a social icon to and click “+Add content” in the column you want the social icon to appear.
Click on Widgets> +Social icon link.
Select which platform you would like to link to and provide the URL for your social media page.
If you would like to label the social icon link tick the “Add Label?” box and type it into the “Label text” box. Then select how you would like it to be positioned in relation to the icon.
Select what icon size and style you would like.
Optionally select custom colours for the Icon.
Click save. Make sure the Social icon link is selected in the list and click “Add selected”.
- Remember to save and publish the page.
How to add a Social icon link list
Select the page (WEBSITE> Pages> Pages) or template (WEBSITE> Pages> Templates) you wish to add a social icon to and click “+Add content” in the column you want the social icon to appear.
Click on Widgets> +Social icon link list.
Give the Social icon link list a title and select if you would like it to be displayed. If you would like to display the title select how it should be aligned. Optionally add a description. This will appear below the title and above the icons.
Select if you would like to override icon size, style and colour. This means regardless of what option is selected when creating the individual icons these choices will be overridden by the options you select here.
Any social icon links you have created elsewhere in your event will be available to add to the list. Click “Re-use other Social icon links”. Select the box beside the icon and click “Link selected”.
If you would like to add a new social icon click “+New Social icon link”. If you haven’t saved the social icon link list before you need to save it first and re-enter to activate this button.
- Follow steps 3-6 of the first section of this article to create the Social icon link. Remember- if you selected to override size, style or colour the choices you make when creating the icon will be overridden.
Drag and drop the icons into the order you would like them to appear. If you would like to remove an icon from the list click the unlink button. Once you are happy with your list click “Save”.
Make sure the Social icon link is selected in the list and click “Add selected”.
- Remember to Save and Publish the page.
