Nomination Names

A nomination name is the name for the nomination as seen on an admin list and by the judges. You can select one or more fields from the entry form to be used as the nomination name. It is important you choose at least one field otherwise every entry will say "-not set-" which can make managing entries difficult for both admin users and judges.

Selecting the nomination name

When creating questions for a category (AWARDS> Categories> Blue button with number of questions on it.) you will notice each question has an optional tick box, "Use for nomination name". If you would like to use this field as the nomination name tick the tick box. This will also automatically mark the field as "Required".

If you have selected more than one field to create the nomination name you can change the order the fields will appear in. Go to AWARDS> Categories and click on the blue questions button. Here you will see the fields you have selected listed. Drag and drop the fields into the order you would like them to appear.

Changing the nomination name after entries have already been received

You can change the nomination name at any point throughout the process by following the steps outlined above. However if you do make a change to the nomination name AFTER you have started to receive entries, after following the steps above you should click "Update nomination names". This will back date the changes to any entries already received.

Person/ Organisation Field Types

If the category uses the "Person" or "Organisation" field type each component of the question can be marked as nomination name separately e.g. the "Organisation" field is made up organisation name and domain.

You may only wish for the organisation name to be a part of the nomination name. Simply click on the question and you will see a "User for nomination name" option beside each component.
