What to do if a customer makes an error when creating their account

If a customer makes an error when creating their account such as making a typo in their name or email address you can easily amend this in their people record.

  1. Go to EVENT> People and search for the person using their name or email address. Once you find them click on their name.

  2. Click the blue pencil beside the relevant information and make the required updates. Remember to click the green tick to save the changes. If you are updating a customer email and you would like them to receive a confirmation email, confirming their email has changed tick the "Send Confirmation Email?" box.


Top Tip

When updating a customer email if you receive an error message "This email is already in use" this means there is already an Evessio account created using that email address. Each email address can only have one Evessio account so you should advise the customer to log in using their existing Evessio account. If they no longer know their password they can use the "Frogot password" link or you can reset their password using a one time password.
