Which emails will a nomination customer receive?

Confirmation Email

When a customer submits an entry they will automatically receive a confirmation email. Which email they receives depends on if the entry is free and what payment method is used. All email templated can be found under WEBSITE>Email Templates:

  • If an entry is free OR is paid for by credit card - Transaction Receipt


  • If the entry is paid for by invoice- Transaction Invoice


Attachments

Copy of the nomination

By default nomination customers will receive a copy of their nomination attached to the confirmation email. This can be disabled by going to REVENUE> Products> Awards Nominations. Select "No" for "Attach Awards nomination PDF(s) to transaction email".

Receipt or Invoice

When a customer submits an entry they will automatically receive a receipt or invoice attached to their confirmation email. Which attachment they receive depends on if the entry is free, paid by card or paid for via invoice. All invoice attachments can be found under WEBSITE>Email Templates> Attachments:

  • If a transaction is a paid for using a credit/debit card the customer will receive the "Invoice- Receipt" attachment.


  • If a transaction is to be paid via an invoice the customer will receive the "Invoice" attachment.

  • If the transaction is free you can chose if the customer should receive the "Invoice- Free" attachment. This is simply a invoice style document listing the products obtained. This can be turned on or off under REVENUE> Payment Settings.

Product Attachment- Optional

A Product Attachment is an additional attachment you can add onto the confirmation email when a product type is purchased e.g. all nomination customers will receive a copy of the Awards Nomination Product Attachment if it is active.

The attachment serves no specific purpose from a system perspective but you can use it for any purpose you might require an additional attachment. The attachment can be updated with any content you require.

To activate the Product Attachment go to REVENUE> Products> Awards Nominations and move the "Product attachment" slider to "Active".

The product attachment can be updated by going to WEBSITE> Email Templates> Attachments and selecting "Product Attachment- Awards Nomination".
