Privacy Policy
The purpose of a privacy policy is to explain how you collect and use your web visitors’ data. It lays out what type of information you collect from users or visitors, your reasons for doing so, and what it is used for. Your policy also explains the methods you use to collect data.
In this article, you can learn how Evessio interacts with your site visitor's information, which can be useful to add to your Privacy Policy. Your policy may contain a variety of the below categories, in which you can find clear information that can be added to these sections of your Privacy Policy.
Note 🗒️
If you are seeking information to include in your privacy policy that is not listed below, please contact support@evessio.com
Usage data
When you visit our websites, our web server temporarily evaluates so-called usage data for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our website. This data consists of the following data categories:
• The name and address of the requested content,
• The date and time of the query,
• The amount of data transferred,
• The access status (e.g. content transferred, content not found),
• The description of the used web browser and operating system used,
• The referral link, which indicates from which page you reached ours.
Storage of IP addresses
Evessio does not store IP address of users on event websites.
Data security
In order to protect your data as comprehensively as possible from unwanted access, we implement technical and organisational measures. These measures include encryption procedures on our websites. Your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the internet using TLS encryption . You can usually recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with https://.
Cookies & Consent Banner
Evessio provides an optional cookie banner for your website, which acts as an acknowledgement of the usage of cookies on the site, which will link to your privacy policy.
Please note, there is no panel for your site visitor to disable cookies, or to choose types of cookies.
If you require more robust cookie settings, you can add an external cookie consent popup, such as CookieScript.

Google Consent Mode & Google Analytics
Any Google Analytics on your site will have been added in Event > Settings. The configuration of this is inherited from the Google Analytics setup outside, and not within Evessio’s control.
Site visitors are tracked only if configured by the event administrators.
Social plugins
Within Evessio, Social Plugins are not used a way to collect data. Using the social links feature simply generates a basic icon, and act as a link to the dedicated social media profile. There are no integrated social media plugins of any type.
Captcha
To protect web forms from automated requests, we use a Captcha function. Within the captcha function you may be asked to carry out a specific task or click on certain checkboxes.
If your site visitors do not agree to this data processing, please advise them to refrain from any web forms.
Adding a Data Protection Contact
