Mailshots

Mailshots allow the sending of bulk messages to event users and collaborators based on various rules. With mailshots you can:

Create rich HTML messages with images
Add personalisation using [VARIABLES]
Target recipients in the current event or other events within the event group
Filter recipients using existing filters or by creating a custom filter on:
- User Role and Status - e.g. Judges or Table Customers
- Order Status - e.g. InBasket, Processed, Saved
- Transaction Status - e.g. Incomplete or Paid or any other ststus
Filters can be combined with various type of logic and tested to ensure the correct recipients are targeted
Send messages immediately or at a later, scheduled time
Track opens as well as delivery status for each message

With mailshots you cannot:

Import lists of users to send bulk emails - Evessio mailshots can only be sent to Evessio users who have registered or are participating in Evessio events

** Note: if you set a schedule, recipients will be fixed at the moment the mailshot is saved i.e. if you target 'Registered users' and at the moment you save you have 100 users but you schedule the message for 1 week in the future and by then there are 150 users - only the first 100 will receive the mailshot
