Product Types, Products & Availability Dates

Product Types

Evessio provides a range of product types that website visitors can book or enter. The types available vary according to the Event Features and include:

• Awards Nominations
• Table Bookings
• Event Attendance
• Exhibition Stands
• Custom Products

The names of the product types are editable; these are the default names.

Each product type has a date period during which products of that type are available, defined by an "Open" and "Close" date. Outside this period no product of that type is available and if you try to define the availability of an individual product to be outside this period you will see an error message.

Products

Every product has a type. Each product has availability dates. By default the availability dates for a product are set to track the availability dates of the product type – you will see this indicated by "track product".

You can change the availability dates so that products are not all available at the same time but they must remain within the overall period defined for the product type. If you try to define the availability of an individual product to be outside the product type availability period you will see an error message.
